Introduction

Buttery House Bakery is a small home bakery in Dublin, CA. This page explains what information we collect when you order from us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

• Your name, your email address and one way to contact you (a phone number or Instagram handle) when you place an order
• What you ordered, your pickup time and any notes you add
• Messages you send us

We do not create customer accounts and we do not ask for passwords.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page. Your card number never reaches our website or our records. We receive only a confirmation that the payment went through.

How we use your information

• To prepare your order and have it ready at your pickup time
• To send your order confirmation, pickup details and a pickup reminder
• To contact you if something changes with your order
• To send news about upcoming drops, only if you ask us to

We never sell your information.

Who helps us run the site

We use a few service providers to run this website: Stripe for payments, Supabase to store order records, Resend to send emails and Vercel to host the site. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our own bookkeeping and taxes. You can ask us to delete or anonymize your details at any time, and we will do so except where we must keep a record of a sale.
